These pages are part of the Administration  of the Trainz Wikibook project.
Sub-pages in the Trainz Wiki reorganization does not count the pages one slash under the 'Trainz/ root level', but conceptually is meant to mean the set of subpages grouped within the TABLES OF CONTENTS (TOCs) of those general TABS of this big three ring binder of Trainz topics.

If it's in the header links across the page tops, it is a TOC page, and not a subpage for figuring organizational classification. The page listed within those headers are subpages of that menu/TOC.

  • Hence Content Creation pages on content creation topics are a counted a subpage of Content Creation in a virtual or logical sense, but with the magic of virtual mapping, will likely reside right where they were created, in the Trainz\... level—a technical subpage.
  • Similarly, pages hierarchically or conceptually under references such as KINDs, containers, and Tags are given their own TOC page and in the later case especially will consist mainly of redirects to sections of subpages (e.g. Tags which are part of kind Engine).
  • KINDS and Containers similarly are TOC header pages whereas their articles are designated as a subpage. Examples of Kinds, will generally be a sub-subpage of the Kind or Container page, and it is such pages that we account as subpages. Similarly, a topic conceptually should be in such a page, but may remain in the Bookroot/Pagename (Chapter) level of file hierarchy.

references, AM&C, Content Creation and pages listed within such pages should and will follow similar reasoning and virtual structure as seems best for ease of linking, locating—in other words, ready access. That an explicit path to the page is under Trainz instead of AM&C is irrelevant so long as it is easily locatable and linkable.

  • Keeping many pages directly as 'designated Subpages' of the book title in url terms makes searching for things much easier. Further, any such titles can be handled easiest in the linking templates if need be established.
  • The upshot of this, is there are no hard and fast rules, but common sense for designating certain groups of pages as subpages or sub-subpages, but only their purpose, and likelihood of being often visited or sought.
