ਕੁਰਸੀ - Chair

Furniture in Punjabi is ਸਜਣਾ. ਕੁਰਸੀ and ਮੇਜ਼ are the most commonly used articles of furniture.

1. ਕੁਰਸੀ = chair
2. ਮੇਜ਼ = table
3. ਸੋਫ਼ਾ/ਗੱਦਾ = sofa
4. ਮੰਜਾ/ਸੇਜ = bed
5. ਗੱਦਾ = matteress
6. ਤਖਤ = throne
7. ਤਖਤਪੋਸ਼ = a broad wooden piece of furniture for sitting or squatting on
8. ਬੈਂਚ = bench

12. ਪੀਹੜੀ = A small and low woven piece of furniture to sit on.
13. ਮੂਹੜਾ = mat
14. ਸੰਦੂਕ = wooden or iron trunk
15. ਅਲਮਾਰੀ = wardrobe
