The Selimiye Mosque is a mosque located in a town called Edrine in Turkey. It is built by the Ottomans. The mosque is built in 1569 to 1575. The planner of the mosque is called Mimar Sinan. He considered this mosque his greatest masterpiece. The mosque was built by Sultan (King) Selim II.
In 2011, it was named a UNESCO World Heritage Site.
