Cappy
editFile:Cappy from Kirby Super Star.png At first glance, Cappies look like bouncing or dancing mushrooms that move slowly along the ground. Occasionally they will throw their mushroom cap up into the air, revealing that they are cylindrical creatures with faces and arms resembling ancient Japanese haniwa statues. When Kirby uses his default inhalation ability on one, he will suck up its mushroom cap, leaving the uncovered cappy unscathed. In Kirby Air Ride they appear as enemies on multiple tracks, but don't have limbs.
A large number of Cappies appear as characters in the anime series Kirby: Right Back at Ya!.

Gordo
editFile:Gordo from Kirby Super Star.png Gordo is a common enemy found in many Kirby games. It looks like a black ball covered in spikes, with two large eyes. They are invincible to all of Kirby's attacks, and even a very powerful one-shot ability doesn't affect them at all. They will typically move in a straight line, horizontally or vertically, bouncing back and forth between walls, presenting a simple moving obstacle for Kirby. Notably, in Kirby 64: The Crystal Shards, when Kirby acquired the Bomb+Needle combo power, he became an explosive mini-version of Gordo for a short period of time. In Kirby Air Ride, the name is changed to Gold Spike and is a weapon. Basically, the player can toss up to three of them. They will bounce when thrown from great heights.
Distinct relatives of Gordo are:
- Blado, a Gordo with blades instead of spikes in Kirby: Canvas Curse
- Captain Stitch, a less indestructible but larger version of Gordo who is a mini-boss in Kirby's Dream Land 2 and 3.
Gordo also makes a cameo appearance in Super Mario Land 2: 6 Golden Coins, also as an indestructible obstacle enemy. Gordo also appears in The Legend of Zelda: Link's Awakening, but by the name of a sea urchin and can be moved by the shield or destroyed by Link's sword.

A large, stationary Kabu plays a role in the Kirby anime. In that version, Kabu is an ancient and wise sage who can see the future. Kabu also serves as a hospital and protection for Warpstars and wounded Star Warriors like a recovery room.
Kookler
editA strange horned creature from Kirby's Dreamland that awaits to attack Kirby.
Koozer
editA darker version of Bronto Burt from Kirby's Dreamland. Replaces Burt in the Extra Game mode.
Mr. P. Umpkin
editA monster from Kirby's Dreamland that lurks in Castle Lololo, who also appears in the prototype anime as one of Nightmare's monsters.
Mumbies
editMumbieses are floating bandaged balls with glowing eyes, inspired by Egyptian mummies. They follow Kirby when he faces away from them like the Boo's Mario faces. They cannot be inhaled, so they must be defeated with other methods. They first appear in Kirby's Dream Land. In the extra game in Kirby's Dream Land, Mumbieses are replaced by Skullers, which are like Mumbieses but much faster. Skullers resemble the Skull LoloSkull enemies in the Adventures of Lolo series as well as other Eggerland games
Dark Matter used Mumbieses as well in Kirby 64: The Crystal Shards, as useless henchmen.
Peezer

In some Kirby titles, a larger version, known as Poppy Bros. Sr.; appears, sometimes in pairs; as a bomb-throwing sub-boss.
Puffy
editA ghost from Kirby's Dreamland who's out to get Kirby.
Scarfy
editFile:Skarfy-kss.PNG Scarfies look like orange, floating balls with cute, smiling faces and pointy ears. If Kirby attempts to use his default inhalation abilities on one, it will drop its cutsey facade, turn brown, and pursue Kirby with its sharp teeth and only one eye. Occasionally they will pursue Kirby whenever his back is turned as well. If Kirby can dodge the scarfy long enough, it will stop and explode. In Kirby SuperStar, using the Copy copy ability (from T.A.C.) on Scarfy will yield Crash ability.
Shotzo
editFile:Shotzo from Kirby Super Star.png Shotzo is an indestructible enemy found in many Kirby games. They look like simple, round cannons that can shoot in multiple directions. Shotzo attacks by blasting volleys of cannonballs at Kirby at intervals, usually tracking his position slowly. Because of their slow pace, they usually aren't hard to dodge. They sometimes drift down from the sky attached to parasols.Though attacking them is meaningless and unaffective, few of Kirby's abilities can stop or negate the cannonballs, for example, in Kirby:Nightmare in Dreamland, the power "Throw" can suck the cannonballs and throw them as a weapon.
Shotzo's distinct relatives include:
- Motor Shotzo, a less indestructible but mobile and mechanical Shotzo in Kirby Super Star
- Wall Shotzo, a Shotzo attached to a wall in Kirby 64: The Crystal Shards

editFile:Squishy from Kirby Super Star.pngSquishy is found in nearly all of Kirby's games, and looks not disimilar to Bloopers of the Mario series. It is a cute, white squid that can be found on both land and in water. On land, it can merely hop around, or possibly jump to try and hit Kirby. The only way they can harm Kirby is by running into him. They first appear in Kirby's Dream Land.
Squishy also appears in the Kirby anime where it gains electric attacks similar to the Master Green mini-boss in Kirby's Dream Land 2. (See: Squishy in the anime)

If they touch Kirby, they'll make him lose one health point. Besides this, they are peaceful Kirby-like creatures. Waddle Dees are the cousins of Waddle Doos. The ones with a parasol, Parasol Waddle Dees, will gently float down from the sky carrying umbrellas and when Kirby swallows them, he can get the Parasol ability to use to attack enemies and also float gently down from a high place. Parasol Waddle Dee can be summoned as a helper in Kirby Super Star. In Kirby Tilt 'n' Tumble there are Spear Waddle Dees, who wield spear. Kirby: Canvas Curse has Fluff Waddle Dees and Spear Waddle Dees makes a return. In Kirby Air Ride, the Cart Waddle Dees ride trolly carts. Raft Waddle Dees appear in Kirby's Dreamland 3, where they travel on rafts. Floaty Waddle Dees lift Floaties in Kirby's Dreamland 2. In Kirby: Canvas Curse, a Waddle Dee is an unlockable character.

In Kirby 64; The Crystal Shards, a Waddle Dee is transformed into a Waddle Doo when he is possessed by Dark Matter. Waddle Doos are seen as the commanders of the Waddle Dees in Kirby: Right Back at Ya!. Waddle Dees have a tan face, but he instead has a single face-sized eyeball in its place, as well as a pair of insect-like antennae on his head. In Kirby Super Star, he can be summoned as a helper. His pointed ears also give him an elf-like appearance.
By swallowing him, Kirby can gain the Fighter ability, which allows him to knock out enemies with a punch and kick. Kirby can also create a 'helper' Knuckle Joe to aid him or be controlled by the second player. Knuckle Joe returns in the upcoming Kirby Wii game, where he still gives Kirby the Fighter ability when swallowed.

When caught in their petals' grip, they drains Kirby's energy. Before they attempts to grab Kirby, they always tease him with a wink, so one can easily predict an oncoming attack.

When swallowed, he gives Kirby the "Copy" ability. As a partner, T.A.C. is able to copy the abilities of enemies at will, making him similar to Kirby in his ability to copy enemies without actually turning into them, unlike all other helpers. When a helper T.A.C. copies, his HP is replenished. Also, if used by a human player, it can attack so fast it has almost no delay between each "punch" that T.A.C. uses. This allows it to defeat most bosses in a few seconds. In Kirby Air Ride, T.A.C. appears in City Trial and gives out power-ups if rammed by one of the players. An oddity in the mini-game Milkyway Wishes in Kirby Super Star is that there is a hidden planet with only these monsters (and two Bombers) on it, hinting that this is probably their homeworld.
