Trainz/Driver menu
< Trainz
The Trainz Driver Menus have been fairly consistant in their appearance and mode of operation, after the introduction of Scenarios in Trainz 1.3 and especially in the era from TRS2004 (2003) through TS2009-SP4. TS2010, TS2012 and T:ANE all have different 'page design' arrangements, so navigation to a Driver Session is different.

Operations Note: Clicking on a footnote ([2]) or note tag ([note 12]) in the main body of text will navigate you (position the page) to the exact text for the entry. • Then: Clicking there on the ? symbol, will return you back to read on from where you started. |
This Driver menu page is 'a reserved article title' linked into by the From the Commons and Trainz Simulator 2009: World Builder Edition at least, and it is the plan that it will cover a topic which needs elaboration for all Trainzers. The article materials should cover:This is a survey article of Driver menus, mainly for historical and critical discussion points. Keep it fairly brief, but with pics. It was last edited on 12 September 2015, so construction has yet to really begin! Newly minted page UNDERCONSTRUCTION: Content here is likely to be changed significantly in a short amount of time. All Trainzer's and Wikibookians with knowledge in this subject are welcome to help out. You can remove this tag and replace it with {{Trainz-stub}} or with section stub templates ({{Trainz-sect-stub}}) on unfinished sections when the 'page' has become more mature. |
Notes, Footnotes & References
editConfig.txt files are endemic and ever present in Trainz assets, for no asset can be defined without this type of Computer Science container. The keyword-value_of_key pairing must always be kept in mind in editing or creating Trainz content. The TrainzBaseSpec contains values and containers which are most common in asset defining config.txt files.
