This page represents an effort of mine to use various tools, including esoteric MediaWiki features and custom Javascripts, to help with creating and editing books. MediaWiki was historically designed for use with Wikipedia, and as such it needs a little creative help to adapt it for use with books and other multi-page information resources. All of the tools on this page require the user to load one or more of my custom javascripts for complete or partial functionality. The first two gadgets, my "Book Creator" and "Template Creator" can be used without Javascript, although some features will be missing.
All these tools are available as a gadget and can be easily installed on your account. See User:Whiteknight/Javascripts (Page) for details.
These Gadgets, including the Javascript, Wikitext components, documentation, etc. are released under the terms of the GFDL with no invariant sections, no front cover text and no back cover texts.
