Hasude is an Albanian dessert.



  1. Begin to dissolve the butter and add in the cornstarch in a pot while heating on a medium to high setting.
  2. Continue to pour in the starch and cook until the mass becomes of yellow color. During this time also pour in some sugar.
  3. Separately prepare a syrup using the remaining sugar and water.
  4. After it is done cooking, shape the mass using a spoon or plastic shapes and pour the syrup on top.
