- Mix the cornstarch smoothly with a little milk to form a paste.
- Put the remaining milk into a pan with the sugar. When boiling add the cornflour paste, and boil for about 10 minutes.
- Let the mixture cool a little, then add the beaten egg yolks, and stir until they thicken.
- Add the vanilla, the bananas. When cool, pour into the prepared mould.
- Chill for a few hours to set.
