Ager soup is a typical Nigerian draw soup which is prepared from the pulp obtained from ager tree. It is commonly consumed by Tiv people.
- To remove pulp from the ager tree, pound gently for few minutes.
- Add water in a pot and boil the pounded pulp.
- Blend pepper, rinse beef and fish.
- Add palm oil, boiled pulp, beef and fish in a pot and cook for few minutes.
- Add maggi cubes and salt to taste.
- Stir slowly and cook for few minutes.
- Ager soup is ready.
