This template also takes an optional sort key for the category:

{{Vegetable|Sort key}}

This template uses the {{ingredient}} template to specify that the article is about an ingredient
It adds " | Vegetable" to the navigation field
Unless the parameter noincludecat is specified, the article is added to Category:Vegetables
For example, {{Vegetable|noincludecat=no}} will not add the article to any categories
