Conjugation of regular nouns
edit
There are 3 standard infinitive verb forms in Pizzonese, ending in -à, -è/-ere and -ì.
- -ccì = 2 hypothetical consonants + 1 ì
- -acì = 1 hypothetical vowel + 1 hypothetical consonant + 1 ì
With the second conjugation infinitives,
- -è (formerly -ère) is used when the ultimate (formerly penultimate) syllable is stressed–as in vedè (formerly vedère)
- -ere is used when the antepenultimate syllable is stressed–as in dícere
Also note that () denotes stem changes, which will be explained soon.

This is a more recent edition to Pizzonese, as the advent of Italian and Neapolitan has made these rather automated to grammar, but has now become a shortcut. The simple remote form as used below though is barely used, as Pizzonesi usually speak of the future in terms of what they have to do, as originally there were no future tenses (as in I will (be)), and future events were talked about in terms of "being done later" (chiù doppe).
