One variety of swallow in Nigeria is that made of wheat flour. It is served with various soups and stews, such as ẹgusi, okro, or ogbono soups.

  1. Put water in a pot, and bring it to a boil.
  2. Gradually stir in the flour, mixing until the mixture is thick and lump-free.
  3. Add a small amount of water, and cook for few minutes.
  4. Serve with the soup of your choice.
