Quire 1

Structurally, the Voynich Manuscript is divided into quires - each quire comprises a set of about four bifolios folded down the middle, stitched along the gutter.

Despite this quire's absence, it almost certainly contains (if the folio numbering system is consistent with the quire numbering system) folios 91 and 92 (i.e. probably a single bifolio).
