Commentary edit
Attributed to Sir Thomas Wyatt,[1] this poem was entered by H9 and is in italic script -- a rare occurrence in this manuscript. Rebholz suggests that this poem may be part of a group of poems that were inspired by Serafino's Canzona de la Patientia.[2]
