Spanish/Lesson 10
Grammar - Future
editIn Spanish, the future has the same function as the future in English - to state things that will happen. Its use is equal to verbs ending in -ar, -er and -ir for regular verbs.
Example:
Verb | Hablar | Comer | Vivir |
---|---|---|---|
yo | hablar - é | comer - é | viver - é |
tu | hablar - ás | comer - ás | viver - ás |
el/usted | hablar - á | comer - á | viver - á |
nosotros | hablar - emos | comer - emos | viver - emos |
vosotros | hablar - éis | comer - éis | viver - éis |
ellos/ustedes | hablar - án | comer - án | viver - án |
There are some irregular verbs that have different conjugations in the future for the first person - yo:
- venir: vendr - é
- tener: tendr - é
- poner: pondr - é
- salir: saldr - é
- poder: podr - é
- hacer: har - é
- querer: querr - é
