Syntax edit

As with all nouns, there are no separate forms of pronouns for the use as subject (I) or as object (me).

喜欢 xĭhuan . I like you.
喜欢 xĭhuan . You like me.

Notes edit

In Taiwan and Hong Kong, the feminine second person singular pronoun 妳 (nĭ) is often used to address a woman or a girl. To address a woman formally, 您 is used.
