Agricultural Resource Saving Concepts--for further development
edit- Fertilizer Inputs
- There are sizable petroleum inputs in conventional fertilizers. A reduction in fertilizer application means not only fewer trips across the field with a tractor and fewer labor hours to operate the tractor, but also a genuine cost and fossil input savings. This would have a strong impact on the greenhouse gasses associated with fertilization.
- Strip Tillage
- Strip tilling helps combine the practices of tilling and no-till farming.
