- Homemade applesauce
- Honey
- Ground cumin
- Salt
- Black pepper
- Rendered bacon fat
- 2 pieces thick-cut bacon, fried
Procedure
edit- Squeeze most of the liquid from the grated sweet potatoes.
- Combine the sweet potato, apple sauce, a little honey, cumin, salt, and pepper.
- Form into patties; it's a little difficult but not impossible to get these to stay together without egg.
- Fry in bacon fat.
- Serve with a side of bacon
