  1. Wash, devein and remove seeds from chile ancho.
  2. Boil the chile, then blend with the least amount of water possible.
  3. Strain off water.
  4. In a saucepan, add pureed, chile, piloncillo, clove, cinnamon and chocolate.
  5. Boil for 3 minutes.
  6. Remove clove.
  7. To serve, allow vanilla ice cream to soften slightly in a bowl and stir in mole.
