Ingredients
edit- 1 cup soy sauce
- 1 cup hoisin sauce
- ¼ cup rice wine vinegar
- 3 tbsp garlic powder
- 1 tbsp ground ginger
- ¼ cup freshly-squeezed lemon juice
Procedure
edit- Combine all ingredients in a mason jar.
- Refrigerate for as long as either the soy sauce or the hoisin lasts, whichever comes first.
Uses
edit- This sauce is extremely useful. To marinate meat in it, pour some into a zip-top plastic bag. Add your meat in and refrigerate for as long as 24 hours. To marinate fish, follow the same directions for meat, but don't marinate the fish for longer than an hour as it will lose flavor.
- You can use this as a brushing sauce for foods on the grill. Just be sure to pour what you think you'll need into like a bowl so that everything stays clean and safe.
