Nigerian cream potato salad is a cold salad made with potato, cabbage, and dressing. It not very common in Nigeria, but it is an alternative salad.

  1. Boil the potato in salted water for about 15 minutes until tender, depending on the size of the potato. Drain it of excess water, and allow it to cool.
  2. Peel the potato, and slice it into smaller pieces.
  3. Combine the potato, chopped eggs, cream, onion, relish, mustard, mayonnaise, cabbage, garlic, salt, and pepper.
  4. Refrigerate until chilled, and serve.
