Bulla cakes are a variety of Jamaican bread made with molasses. Here, the cakes are paired with a chicken curry.

  1. Cut chicken in equally-sized pieces.
  2. Rinse the chicken in lime juice.
  3. Combine the chicken with the green onions, onions, chile peppers, curry powder, salt, and pepper. Let marinate 5–10 minutes.
  4. Heat olive oil in a pot. Add the chicken mixture, and cook for 30–60 minutes.
  5. Serve with bulla cakes.
