Cookbook:Fried Tiger Lily Pastries
- 5 oz dried lily bulbs
- 10 pieces of pastie paper
- 3 eggs
- 1 cup water
- Wash and soak dried lily bulbs for one hour.
- Strain water.
- Place bulbs in sauce pan with one cup of water and cook until soft.
- Remove from heat and stir in sugar until it dissolves and let cool.
- Once cooled beat in eggs.
- Placed mixture in center of a pastries paper and place in hot oil.
- Finished cooking when it has turned to a golden brown.
