Danwake is a popular Nigerian dish, particularly in the northern regions, made from ground beans (usually black-eyed peas), flour, and spices. It's often served with a variety of sauces or soups, and it is both nutritious and filling.

Ingredients
edit- Flour or Beans flour or guinea corn flour.
- Baobab leaf flour
- Potassium
- Salt
- Pepper flour
- Water
- Palm oil or vegetable oil
Procedure
edit- Soak potash with water
- Mix the flour or bean flour with a the soaked potash.
- Gradually add soaked water and stir until you get a thick dough.
- Heat water in a pot until it boils, then drop small portions of the dough into the boiling water.
- Let it cook until the dumplings are tender.
- Once done, drizzle with groundnut oil, and add onions and cabbage if desired.
