Black is in check and must capture the bishop with 7...Kxf7, which allows White to play 8.Qd5 recovering the piece.

The attempt to evade the fork with 7…Ke7?? doesn't work; White plays 8. Qd5! anyway to defend the bishop, and the threats of Re1 and Bg5 are crushing.
