# Beginning Rigorous Mathematics

A reader requests expansion of this book to include more material. You can help by adding new material ( learn how) or ask for assistance in the reading room. |

This book is intended for students of mathematics making their first forays in rigorous mathematics. This usually happens in the transition from calculus (usually involving mostly the 'mechanical' application of the rules of differentiation and integration), to (real) analysis which involves *proving* more general statements and usually requires a bit more lateral thinking than introductory calculus.
