Introduction and Important Stuff
editMy name is Jeff Hankins, and I have a variety of interests, including mathematics and www.homestarrunner.com, which is where my user name originates. As of late July 2005, I have also begun enjoying football. Although I supported the Steelers during my childhood, I decided that since I only supported them because my father did, I had enough reason to turn to the Buccaneers. I've supported the Tennessee Volunteers all my life. As for other sports, I haven't worked out who I'm going for unless the Volunteers are in it. I created the Pokémon Colosseum walkthrough and finally finished it. By the way, I managed to catch a shiny Pokémon other than Red Gyarados! I really am excited about this. Also, it turns out that Wikipedia was founded on my birthday. I turned 15 that day.
By the way, I will not be editing Wikibooks from July 16, 2005 to August 1, 2005, which means that I should be able to get back to editing on August 2. Do not take this as a reason not to edit any pages that I have created. If something needs to be changed, change it, but please make sure that all changes are appropriate.
As an update, I may do some edits beginning July 24, 2005, but I won't be able to edit nearly as often as usual until August 2, 2005. I hope to be well on my way to adminship.
Interesting note
editOne time, for the Games bookshelf, I suggested that a Sports section should be included. Seeing that there is a Sports section now, I see that someone has taken my idea to heart.
No MGS2 guide?
editIt's amazing that there isn't a guide for this game. I think that such a guide would be a good thing to add to Wikibooks, considering that there are already plenty of guides and a guide satisfies the criterion for being on Wikibooks because it is basically a manual.
German language wikibook
editThe German language wikibook is a great wikibook. I can't believe how much time and effort has been put into it. Anyone who says that Wikibooks isn't going anywhere should check that book out.
