Basic Information

Hi. My name is Sarra Euto. I was born in Heidelberg, Germany and lived there until I was two years old. I then moved to Upstate New York in a small town called Massena. For a little more perspective, Massena is about nine miles away from the US/Canadian border. :). I lived in New York for eight years and then finally settled in Virgina from 2000 to now. I hope to become either a high school teacher or a college professor, haven't decided just yet.

I like playing basketball, lacrosse, baseball, football (soccer), and hockey.

I also like to play Frisbee golf. Because golf is boring and frisbees are more fun.

My favorite team in college basketball is Syracuse Orange Growing up in New York, it's expected. And I actually don't like the Yankees. And the dislike of any team from the New England area is actually true, haha.

I love watching movies, and if need be, there will be lots of movie quotes everywhere.

Growing up, I wanted to be a veterinarian. Then a CIA/FBI agent. Then a police officer. Then a movie director. Then a dinosaur. Dinosaur status still withstanding.

High School: Robert E. Lee High School (Class of 2005)

College: Northern Virginia Community College (Class of 2008) Associates Degree: Liberal Arts

College: Old Dominion University: English Major (Creative Writing) and a minor in Education.

Education Philosophy

As of right now, I don't really know what kind of educational philosophy I would see myself in. I guess it would all be about having fun and making sure that the students that you are teaching are students who are willing to learn and grow with you throughout the year. I would like to help out students with everyday problems and to show them that writing is something that everyone can do. Though, sometimes not well, but everyone can manage some sort of story for others to enjoy. I guess that's all I have to say about that right now...
