I am a computer professional. I have worked in many areas of the industry including several Open Source projects - PostgreSQL and OpenJDK. Starting working with the Wikimedia project by setting up Wikipedia for personal notes (on top of Apache, php and PostgreSQL). Did some minor edits on Wikipedia, plunged right in and wrote a book on Wikibooks (see below), which included adding content to Wikimedia Commons.
