Plan to study/teach:I am planning on teaching Kindergarten or 1st grade in the public school system. I am currently getting my Degree in Interdisciplinary studies pre-k through 6.

MY Educational Philosophy: I believe that teaching children is the most important job in the world. I want to make a difference in young chlidren's life. Those few hours that a child spends in class might be the only time that they see a positive role model. Learning should be fun and engaging for children. There is nothing worse than hating going to school, it is our job as teachers to make school a fun and exciting place for children. There is always that one teacher that made an impact on your life, and i want to be that teacher for my students! I also believe that children learn through play. You cannot expect a child to sit at a desk for 8 hours out of the day and pay attention. I am passionate about teaching and making a difference in childrens lives.
