My name is Jan Pešula. I graduated from Economic university in Prague, Czech Republic and for the last 15 years, I have been involved in implementation and support of SAP R/3 (Financials) for major corporate clients in various countries and industries.

I have been active on Wikimedia projects since 2004,

• first on English Wikipedia (until about 2007), learning the basics of editing a Wiki, making small edits and writing short articles about rail transport in Guatemala, etc.
• then on Czech Wikisource (2007-2009), introducing both classical and forgotten works of Czech literature from lesser known sources (e.g., Google Books USA 1865-1922) to general Czech readers
• and finally on Czech Wikipedia (2009-2012), focusing on organizing data from historical magazines, finding and uploading public-domain portraits and writing more than 250 biographies of once famous, now forgotten Czech celebrities of the late 19th century.

As of early 2013, I am ready for a change again and considering further options — maybe within Wikimedia projects, maybe outside, but surely focusing on my main area of interest (the SAP R/3). We may perhaps meet more often on Wikibooks.
