== About Me ==

My name is Roy Dragon. I am a 20 year old Sophmore at Old Dominion University. Born and raised in New Jersey. I am member of the ODU wrestling team. One day I hope to become a high school history teacher and coach wrestling. Outside of school and wrestling I enjoy playing paintball, going to the beach, and hanging out with friends. I have two sisters one is a Junior in high school and one is a currently a Freshman at ODU. My father is a high school principal and my mom is a teacher.

== Teaching Philosophy ==

I feel that it is a privilege to be a teacher. Each day you are given an opportunity to make an impact in the lives of young adults. I come from a family of educators and was instilled with a deep respect for those in the field of education.

Everyday is another chance to help students not only in your field of study but in their personal development. It is that side of teaching that I look forward to the most. Over the years I had the honor of having many great teachers and role models both in and out of the classroom.

I hope to show my students that it is not only the grades that matter but the way that you come about the results. Doing the right things and taking pride their work is a lesson that can transfer over to any opportunity they choose to pursue in their lives. After they leave my class I would like to think that students take with them a greater knowledge on the subject I present to them. Though they may not remember every from the tests, I hope they remember the deeper lessons I will try and instill in the classroom: respect, organization, and cooperation.
