Maria Hanzazi was born in Morocco. She received her primary and middle school education in bilingual- French and Arabic schools. She has a BA in English Language and Letters from L' Universite Mohammed V of Rabat. She has an MA in English and American Literature from Fairleigh Dickinson University Metropolitan campus. This thanks to a generous Fulbright grant that changed her life (1993-1995). She has studied music, piano and dance from 1978 to 1991 at the Conservatoire de Musique et de Danse de Rabat. She teaches English. She is now in Virginia to gain expertise in Instructional Design and Technology. This semester, she has joined the ECI teaching team as a teaching Assistant for Foundations of American Education class. She is looking forward to contributing, assisting and observing learning through interaction with wikibooks among Old Dominion University learners.
