Educational Philosophy

"If we teach today like we taught yesterday, we rob our children of tomorrow." - John Dewey

I believe that teachers have an obligation to be as highly trained as possible. Teachers should utilize as many tools that are available to them in order to enhance their teaching methods as much as possible. Teachers have an obligation to use whatever technology is at their disposal in order to give their students every advantage. A teacher should have high expectations for all of their students, pushing them to reach their limits, enable them to grow both intellectually and emotionally and to help students to achieve their goals.

I owe it to my students to bring an open mind and a positive attitude to the classroom on a daily basis. I would like my students to see my classroom as an inviting, inspirational and energizing place for them to come every day.
