Hi, my real-name is Tom Tarrant and I'm a keen wildlife/video-photographer in my spare-time (which is sadly far too-short!). Recently I've been adding images to bird articles on Wikipedia and felt that it would be nice to create some material in print to promote and educate wildlife-conservation. To my mind the natural-world is priceless and I would rather put my efforts into a non-profit publications, I am becoming very-comfortable with open-source computing and enjoying using Ubuntu, Firefox, Gimp, Kino and all the community-based software, Would be extremely grateful for any tips and advice from other wikibook enthusiasts!
