Trainz/Adding a background image to GMAX

  1. Select the view you want the drawing to appear.
  2. Left Click the VIEWS button
  3. Select VIEWPORT BACKGROUND
  4. Check Display Background and Lock Pan Zoom
  5. Navigate to the file folder that contains the drawing you want to use and Check OPEN and then OK
  6. The drawing will then show up in the view port.
  7. You can then go the Helpers and use the TAPE MEASURE button to setup the scale.
