Super Smash Bros./Fighting Polygons

Fighting Polygons (or "the Fighting Polygon Team") are metallic-looking purple clones of playable characters (There are no Polygons for Master Hand, Metal Mario, Giant Donkey Kong, and, obviously The Fighting Polygon Team) made completely out of polygons in Super Smash Bros.. The next to last level in the game contains 30 of these relatively weak clones of existing SSB characters.

Polygons are very weak and most can be KO'd with basic smash-attacks. The Polygons' fighting arsenal is limited to basic A-button attacks and rely moreso on their numbers than fighting skill. They retain the basic form of their character counter-parts but not weight, therefore they are easily KO'd. They stand, walk, and occasionally dash for items, however, on harder difficulty levels, the Polygons actively hunt the character down and attack in groups making them a more formidable fighting force.

Possible descendants of the Fighting Polygons are the WireFrames in Super Smash Bros. Melee, which play a similar role. They are not directly based off of any character, but the Male WireFrames are said to resemble Captain Falcon, and the Female WireFrames are said to resemble Zelda. They have approximately the same strength as the Fighting Polygons, but are somewhat more agile. It is unknown who built them, if anyone, and if anyone did build them, if the same person made both families. It is, however, a generally accepted concept that Master Hand built at least the WireFrames, as they bear its symbol. This is unconfirmed and it is not known if Master Hand built the Polygons. Crazy Hand may also have some connection.
