GOALS OF THE MOTHER'S DAY CLASSIC


The goals[1] of the MDC are:

  • Major Goal: Raising $2.5 million for National Breast Cancer Foundation (NBCF) (20% increase from 2010 to 2011)
  • Minor Goal: Increasing the awareness of breast cancer within the community (20% increase of breast cancer screenings two weeks before and 4 weeks after event)
  • Minor Goal: Increasing the numbers of participants (120.000) in major and regional events (20% increase from 2010 to 2011)
  • Minor Goal: Amplifying the support and memory of those touched by breast cancer (20% increase of clicks on the NBCF website)
