Radiation Oncology/Spinal radiosurgery

Spinal radiosurgery is the one or a few fractions and high doses per fraction for primary or metastatic tumors involving a vertebral body with close proximity to the spinal cord. It is often used in a site of prior irradiation, so IMRT can be used to limit the dose to the cord.
