PlanoTse Handbook for Job Search Automation/The making of PlanoTse
The Making of PlanoTse
editPlano is a northern suburb of Dallas, Texas. The suffix Tse is a Chinese name, which is pronounced as say with a silent T, but it also stands for Tony Software Engineer (TSE). Written in C Sharp and Windows Presentation Foundation, PlanoTse software is so named because it is created by Tony, pictured on the right, the Software Engineer of Plano, Texas. It's designed as a personal tool for mining the global data of the World Wide Web.
The first version of PlanoTse is numbered as 0.0.1. The earliest versions of PlanoTse, as released before June 2012, were not very useful to the end user. The first version with a practical use is PlanoTse 0.0.45, which can automatically discover all the web domains related to a particular search objective, see this use case.
PlanoTse Handbook for Job Search Automation is PlanoTse's first user guide and it was written by Tony himself. His documentation skills made this guide one of the friendliest online manuals at Wikibooks. In fact, the making of PlanoTse Handbook for Job Search Automation is part of the making of PlanoTse. The software is so complex that without such documentation further development would be difficult. Making this book is also a demonstration of Tony's programming skill. It was he who programmed the so called Part I - The Shortest Route in order to provide the shortest sequence of pages that would as quickly as possible bring the reader to the point where they can start using PlanoTse effectively.
Making PlanoTseScript, a web search language, is also part of the making of PlanoTse. It was Tony who invented this web search language. But what is a web search language? Here is his definition. A programming language is an artificial language designed to communicate instructions to a machine. Query language Query language is a programming language used to make queries into databases and information systems. If these databases and systems are together called the World Wide Web then this query language is called a web search language. Web search language is thus both a query language as well as a programming language.
To underline the importance of PlanoTseScript, the next sentence needs to be stated. PlanoTse should become a global success when people use PlanoTseScript for web search as frequently as programers use SQL for database search. PlanoTseScript is the scripting language you use to tell PlanoTse what to do while you're in bed: (1) Google, Bing and which other web search engines to use, (2) how to process all their search results, and, more importantly, (3) how to select results and express them in form of an easy-to-understand table. People do not use Google and Bing 8 hours a day because they do not have that much time for Google and Bing. PlanoTseScript will give them the power to use web search engines 24/7/12/365 for all their information needs.
