Not to be confused with the later, but unrelated Gamate.

The VTech 3D Gamate was released in 1983, and featured a screen designed for stereo viewing.[1]

Little more is known about the console, however it holds a distinct role as an early stereoscopic gaming device.

Technology edit

The 3D Gamate uses cartridges.[2] The Cartridges themselves contain the stereoscopic screens.[3]
