Development edit

The TGP (Tencent Games Platform) Box, also known as the Blade, was announced by Tencent at Consumer Electronics Show Asia in May of 2016.[1]

Industrial design of the system was performed by the studio "Memory".[2]

Launch edit

The system appears to have launched exclusively in mainland China in September of 2016 for the equivalent of 425 British pounds.[3]

The system was developed in partnership with Intel, and used a sixth generation Intel Skylake processor.[4][1] The system was equipped with either a i3 or an i5 processor.[3]

The system featured an Nvidia GTX 750 Ti GPU.[3][5]

The system had an SSD with a capacity of 128 gigabytes.[3]

Hardware edit

Haier was a manufacturing partner for system hardware.[1][6]

The system features a barrel jack for power, four USB ports, an ethernet port, HDMI port, Display Port, and two 3.5 jacks.[7]

Software edit

Windows 10 and a custom interface were both supported.[1][8]
