History

The Interton Video 2800 was released in 1977.^[1]

Technology

The Interton 2800 is based on the Universal research Laboratories, Inc F-4301.^[2]

This advanced chip allowed the system to support a mode which allowed a player to play against the console for the "Pong"-like games,^[2]^[1] a rare feature in home consoles at the time.
