Interton Electric released the system in Germany in 1975.[1]

The console was based on 14 CMOS chips.[1]

Cartridges

Cartridge #2, a Badminton game for the Interton Video 2000.

Cartridges for the system were called cassettes,[1] and also used CMOS chips.[2]

Cartridge numbers were based on a naming scheme of 757575IVT#x, where # is replaced by the cartridge number.[3]

The system was powered on by inserting a cartridge.[4]
