The Evercade VS was announced on April 23rd, 2021 as a home console version of the Evercade handheld.[1] Pre-orders opened on May 23rd, 2021.[1]
The release date of the console was initially set for November 3rd, 2021.[1] In October of 2021 the system release was delayed to December 2021 in Europe, and January 14th, 2022 in Canada and the United States of America.[2]

Four USB ports are used for controller ports.[3] First party and third party controllers could be used.[4]
Packaging edit
The system was shipped without a power supply or HDMI cable.[5]
