History of video games/Platforms/AYANEO Kun
History
editThe AYANEO Kun was developed by the company AYANEO of China.[1]
The system was teased in July 2023.[2]
An Indiegogo crowdfunding campaign was scheduled to launch on September 5, 2023.[1]
Prices for the system ranged from $1,209 to $1,949.[3] Notably a launch discount on the crowdfunding campaign allowed some to get the console for $999.[4] Even given a launch discount, this console is among one of the more expensive handhelds of the generation, even within the relatively higher priced segment of PC gaming handheld game consoles.
Technology
editThe system has a battery rated at 75 watt hours.[5]
