Fire on the Limestone Plains/Bush Fires
Bush fires are an integral part of Australia's environment.[1] Historically the areas which experience the most severe bush fires usually occur in the south-eastern corner of Australia, south of a line from Sydney to Adelaide,[2] however over the last few years significant bush fires have occurred in the southern parts of Western Australia.
