Motivation

edit

This book is intended to give a compact overview of the possibilities and usage of DD-WRT, especially for users who are not primarily concerned with the topic of routers. Therefore, it can not and shall not replace the wiki and the forum of the official website, which provide a high amount of detailed information.

In some fields requires router software specific background knowledge, so that it is not always possible to avoid using technical terms. If possible and requirded, these should be shortly explained here.

Anyone can contribute to this book.
