Borg Defence edit

1...g5?! edit

The Borg (Grob spelt backwards) or Basmaniac Defence. A rare defence that Michael Basman employed in the 1980 British Championship. Although this move is generally considered inferior and weakens the kingside severely, according to Modern Chess Openings, Black is only somewhat worse.
