Article 36[1]
The present Enforcement Act comes into force as from the date of the coming into force of the Part of OBLIGATIONS of the Civil Code.
The provisions of the revision of the Part of Obligations of the Civil Code and the present Enforcement Act comes into force as from May 5, 2000.

Article 36[2]
The present Enforcement Act comes into force as from the date of the coming into force of the Part of OBLIGATIONS of the Civil Code.
The provisions of the revision of the Part of Obligations of the Civil Code and the present Enforcement Act comes into force as from May 5, 2000, except the date of coming into force of the Article 166-1 of the Civil Code shall be otherwise determined by the Executive Yuan jointly with the Judicial Yuan.

Article 36[3]
The present Enforcement Act comes into force as from the date of the coming into force of the Part of OBLIGATIONS of the Civil Code.
The provisions of the revision of the Part of Obligations of the Civil Code and the present Enforcement Act comes into force as from May 5, 2000, except the date of coming into force of the Article 166-1 of the Civil Code shall be otherwise determined by the Executive Yuan jointly with the Judicial Yuan.
Article 687 and Article 708 of the Civil Code which were revised on December 15, 2009 shall take effect from the date of November 23, 2009.
